Lorenzo’s Return Lights Up Final Test

The MotoGP World Championship runner-up Jorge Lorenzo makes a welcome return to the track at the final test session of the pre-season under the Qatar floodlights on Thursday. The tough Spaniard broke his right hand in a motocross accident six weeks ago but plans to ride in the two day test before the 18 round MotoGP season gets underway at the Losail International circuit in Qatar on April 11.

Ducati Marlboro Team Head for Friendly Territory at Phillip Island

The Ducati Marlboro Team heads down under this week to the Phillip Island circuit for Casey Stoner’s home race, the Australian Grand Prix. Both Stoner and his American team-mate Nicky Hayden are huge fans of the track, which overlooks the Bass Strait, because it is fast, flowing and technically demanding.

Best Weekend of the Season for Troy. Ruben Injured

The work done away from the track, together with the recent successful Italian tests, all added up to Brno being the best weekend of the season to date. Troy finished a superb fifth in race one, after leading the first couple of laps, and followed that up with a tenth in race two, despite tyre problems.
