Yes we’ve seen Simon F’s great photo set from the Isle of Man in the summer, but here in the winter drought are some more images from the Island - some from the TT by some other photographers I call friends, and some from Simon’s trip to the Southern 100. Truth is there is a lot of talent out there and too much for us to use on a regular basis, but this is a way of appreciating what we can.

Designed and constructed in Christchurch, New Zealand, the YikeBike is a fairly awkward mean of urban transportation, even one that could pass as a bicycle if it wasn't for the 1.2kW electric motor powering it. It is made of carbon fiber, unfolds in 15 seconds and only weighs 22 pounds (10 kilograms)

Tom has a BS degree in Industrial Design from the Appalachian State University in the US and the electric sportbike, that he designed and constructed in a single semester, features an 84-volt lithium-ion battery, which powers a three-phase AC motor that produces 105 lb feet of torque and 46 hp.
