Sam Lowes’ challenge for the 2010 Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport Championship remained on track at Brands Hatch today when the GNS Racing rider took another second place to claim his seventh podium of the season and maintain his lead in the title race with just four rounds remaining. The 19-year-old from Lincoln and main Championship rival James Westmoreland had held the top spot in an excellent qualifying session but Sam had to settle for second on the grid albeit just a fraction adrift of the Yamaha man so it was all set for a thrilling race.
