Round eight of the British Superbike Championship was at Brands Hatch at the weekend and the HEL brake line riders had a very successful weekend. Once again the organisers and riders were not blessed with perfect weather conditions and the heavens opened just before the start of the first Superbike race on Saturday. This caused a Moto GP style system with riders pulling into the pits during the race to swap tyres to enable them to set a fast time for the second race grid positions on Sunday.

Good fortune was in short supply for James Ellison and the sorrymate.com Honda squad at Brands Hatch over the weekend with just one points scoring finish to show for their efforts in the latest round of the British Superbike Championship. A combination of technical problems and sheer bad luck in both practice and the races meant that James could only take a solitary 13th place in the last of the 3 races and that was a number that summed up the weekend for the team
