I have only ever had one textile jacket, it was my first biking garment, but since then had considered leather as the way to go, principally because of the increased abrasion protection it usually offers over textile equivalents, but also because, hey! Leather jackets - they’re cool!. However, I was recently given the opportunity to try a textile jacket from Held and my opinion of textile jackets changed for the better.
