Making Potholes Visible

Two Italian students have come up with a great idea for us to avoid potholes with our motorcycles. They are testing a road surface that has a bright color beneath the surface. Once a pothole is created, the bright color becomes visible, allowing you to be alerted, and avoid the pothole.

British MX - Round 2 Mallory Park

In a dazzling display, Teka Suzuki Europe rider, Ken Roczen dominated the MX2 class at Mallory Park in Leicestershire today, not only winning the Q1 and Q2 qualifying sessions, but all three motos as well! His team mate, Arnaud Tonus, stood on the second step of the podium whilst third overall was good enough for Jake Nicholls (HM Plant Red Bull KTM) to take home the red plate as championship leader. Both Neville Bradshaw (Samsung Yamaha) and Martin Barr (PAR Honda) put in consistent rides to take fourth and fifth ahead of the Championship leader after round one at Exeter three weeks ago, Zach Osborne (Bike It Cosworth Yamaha) who recovered from a first race DNF to claim two third spots

MSV 2010 Season Opening Event Cadwell Park

MSV, official organisers of the MCE British Superbike Championships opened their race season calender at Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire this year. Present were examples of all the machines likely to be racing at Cadwell this year including the Superbikes. Also charging around the picturesque circuit were vintage racers including a Bugatti, go-karts from various levels of racing, Fiat Abarth 500’s from the new one make Trofeo Championship and various tuned road cars which will compete in events such as the Modified Live, Time Attack and the European Drift Championships

KTM Shows Zero Emission Sport Motorcycle at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show

The Austrian brand KTM is presenting two versions of an electrically-driven sport motorcycle for the first time. Both a sports-oriented offroad machine and a dynamic on-road bike are on display at the Tokyo Motorcycle show under the label “KTM Freeride”
