Suzuki Alstare Debuts its New Team

The first day of the Portimao tests saw new signings Sylvain and Leon Haslam together in Suzuki Alstare colours for the very first time. Sylvain had raced the bike during the recent World Superbike race here last weekend and continued to get more familiar with the GSX-R1000 K9. Despite a sore left elbow and ankle, caused by the crash last Sunday in the warm-up, Leon soon got on the pace and started to understand his new bike.

The Ducati Xerox Testing Underway at Portimao in Preparation for 2010

Just two days after the final round of the World Superbike Championship 2009 and the Ducati Xerox Team begins testing in preparation for the new season. Noriyuki and Michel, second and third at the end of this year’s campaign, and both already confirmed with the Ducati Xerox Team for 2010, were back on track this morning with most of the other Superbike team for the first of two days of testing.
