Kawasaki produced and sold the Ninja250R for 20 years before considering an upgrade and getting at work to develop a brand new model, the one that was launched last year and which started a complete frenzy especially among beginning riders. Soon turning into Kawi's best selling sport bike, the Ninja 250R carries on as a 2009 model year with virtually nothing changed on it so the only rightful question related to it is: “Will it be the same 20 years from now?” Introduction Apparently, (…)

Some bikes simply never end up their statements about comfort, user-friendliness, manageable power, but mostly reliability. One such motorcycle is Kawasaki's Ninja 500R, a consecrated two-wheeler with a taste for modern days too. Freshly painted in Kawi's latest and greatest color (Plasma Blue), the 2009 model year carries on teaching beginners a thing or two about sports riding while providing an enjoyable ride too. Although the more recent alternative known as the Ninja 650R has developed (…)

Kawasaki presents the 2009 Versys without having too much to mention under the “Improvements” heading as the bike is still a relatively new introduction, a faultless one considering the many positive opinions we got related to it. They do ad a new color scheme, the Blue in the pictures, apart from Kawasaki Green, but the Versys remains the same all-rounder with many secrets yet to be unveiled when you jump on its seat. Combining a touring-like riding position with sports-like design and (…)

Ural to auction custom-painted Gzhel sidecar motorcycle

On the surface, it would seem that Ural’s brand of rugged sidecar motorcycles has absolutely nothing at all to do with delicate . Regardless, the American branch of the classic Russian motorcycle maker has commissioned a unique take on their bread-and-butter Tourist model that’s painted up in a white and blue motif inspired by Gzhel pottery.
The artist responsible for the Ural Gzhel is Svetlana Zyryanova, a Ural employee that spends the majority of her working career painting the company’s two-wheel drive Desert-style camo . Zyryanova reportedly chose the paint colors, developed the design and painted it all up in her spare time. We’d probably opt for something along the lines of the company’s more sedate , but this was an impressive undertaking to be sure.
Ural plans to put this one-of-a-kind bike up for auction on eBay Motors on April 3rd at noon EST. The winning bidder will be able to pick the bike up at his or her nearest dealer. Along with the bike itself, the sale will include a bottle of Russian Gzhel vodka and 10% of the proceeds will be donated to the Irbit Children School of Arts in Russia.

In what concerns middleweight streetfighter bikes, a powerful and smooth operating engine, comfortable ergonomics and light handling are all qualities that manage to do the trick each and every time. So what could have possibly been Kawasaki doing to the 2009 ER-6n that they ended up delivering such a versatile being, aggressive looking and awesome performing motorcycle that it even ended up on the American market? The series of modifications improved almost every aspect of the light and (…)

A wise man once said that intelligence consists in the ability to adapt to new situations each and every time these emerge and it looks that this is exactly what Kawasaki is doing with the Ninja 650R. This is the head of their sport bike lineup and it meets the latest requests in matter of performance, comfort, user-friendliness, reliability and style. It is the result of Kawi spotting the need of such a bike on the market and it already got much better. Introduction For 2009, (…)
